When you’re trying to save for retirement, keeping a huge house for yourself may cost you a lot. McClain pointed out the responsibility of having to pay taxes for such a house and also keep up with the maintenance. Of course, your home has sentimental value and you probably don’t want to go through the stress of moving, but it would be more convenient to just live in a properly sized home.
