11. A nation facing a pension crisis

Besides Social security and healthcare, another troublesome aspect that affects some states is the pension crisis. There has been a significant rise in the pension debt in Illinois, for instance, and this increase threatens the retirement plans of the still working people.
The change in state finances affects the pension system.
