Gen X sets eyes on the West, Southeast and abroad
Most people aged 35 to 44 expressed their desire to retire somewhere outside the U.S. while 23% of the same group chose the West Coast as their retirement destination. A fifth of the older generation x-ers, namely the 45 to 54 group, consider retiring abroad more appealing while 27% chose the Southwest.
