Missouri

In Missouri, the annual expenditures are $44,646. Although costs in this state aren’t much different from the states surrounding it, housing expenses are a whole different story. You’ll find a price here that is the fifth cheapest in the U.S., at only $6,988, which is 28.4% lower than the national average.

Also, living in Missouri is going to save you a lot of cash when paying taxes, as it partially taxes Social Security income but also public pensions. People are also extremely surprised to find out that Missouri has way more coastline than California! Because of this, the outdoor recreation here is on a whole different level.

  1. I would consider moving to TN or maybe Mississippi only because those states i know support Americans Constitutional Freedoms. Im not sure about the others on your list? I have already been looking for land in WV and TN and was considering TN for a 3rd choice as i have found it hard to find land with a year round stream/creek/river on it? My wife and i both agree it has to have a stream flowing on the property. Well back to my search since i have had no luck locating any undeveloped land as of yet? lol
