Move Manager

There’s a job called Senior Move Manager out there, where someone basically helps people move from one home to another. The job involves organizing belongings, arranging for garage sales, donating goods, packing and unpacking, and decorating the new home.

Postpartum Doula

You’ve probably done that several times already if you have kids. But did you know that there are women out there who are new to motherhood and would kill for a little help? Not only could they use your expertise in feeding, emotional, and physical recovery from birth, but you get to teach them all you know about infant soothing and basic newborn care.

You did not mention retail merchandiser. These people work for 3rd parties (outside companies) to help retailers such as Target, Walmart, Publix, Home Depot, etc get tasks done. These tasks are typically 10 to 30 minutes long and depending on the area you live in, available in all the branches of the retailer you are working with. You can sign up for these jobs online, complete the projects on your schedule (within a one or two-week time frame), and get paid by electronic payment. The tasks include placing coupons on products, checking for product availability in the store, and setting up small displays. The work is reported using your phone. This is a great job for seniors.

Is this a joke? The retired people, that I know, all have health issues, and need sit, down jobs. This article lists many that say, “it’s hard work, but”. I have a 70 year old friend, who just quit Starbucks after 2 weeks, due to the intensity of learning. Anyway, in the richest country in the world, we have too many seniors that MUST work to make ends meet! WHY????
