7. Alabama

Out of the whole United States, worth mentioning is that the most problems we seem to have found are in the state of Alabama.

One year Diversicare, located in Foley, seemed to have issues with assuring safety to its patients when reports came with 6 different issues of resident-on-resident violence in their dementia unit, included in these reports was a patient who was found unconscious on the ground.

In Terrence Oaks there was an issue that cost them $130,000 in 2017 when the Department of Public Health found a patient going through morphine withdrawals after going 11 days without his medication.
