Does Your Employer Want You to Retire? Here Are 15 Ways to Tell!

March 16, 2020 · Retirement Life

Disciplinary Action Is Taken for No Reason

If your performance is not in decline and yet you’ve found that formal disciplinary actions have been taken against you, that’s a huge red flag. Employees who do their jobs and do it well shouldn’t be subject to such treatment. One of the reasons this might be happening is, sadly, your age.

When this happens you should be prepared to fight back. You’ll most likely find that your employer practices other signs on this list as well, so keep an eye out and prepare yourself for this one too.

One relatively easy way to protect yourself from this is to document everything you’re doing, ask for feedback on jobs well done and overall don’t let your performance slide.
