Maintaining oral hygiene becomes physically demanding if you suffer from joint stiffness or carpal tunnel syndrome. An electric toothbrush with an ergonomic handle does the scrubbing work for you, requiring only a gentle guiding hand. Pairing this with a water flosser—which uses a targeted stream of water to clean between teeth—eliminates the need to wrap tight strings around your fingers and awkwardly maneuver your hands inside your mouth.
