Your Salary and Career Growth Is Halted

If you work in a company with a healthy bottom line then it’s worth considering your last promotion or raise when tackling the subject of retirement. Has it been a while since you’ve received a promotion despite your hard work?

If you suspect that had something to do with your age, you should also be aware it’s illegal according to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, also known as the EEOC.

If your raises aren’t nearly as impressive as they had once been, time to consider why this might be an issue. After all, companies who truly value their members and want them to stay onboard will offer higher remuneration.
