There are a lot of expensive retirement communities in the United States. As surprising as it may seem, you can easily find a proper place for $100,000 or less. You need to pay more for quality and aspect (but there are cheaper possibilities for almost the same new facilities). However, you can find older but nice places – age-restricted, 55-plus communities built in the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s which are well kept and are good less pricey options. The following list was made up with the help of several brokers from Florida, Arizona, and Pennsylvania.
