25. You can see your estimated benefits online

Still a little confused as to how much money you should expect? Your next step should be your My Social Security account. Checking online should give you a better idea of what retirement will look like.

You’ll get to see your estimated benefits at 62, your FRA and 70. Keep in mind these are not set in stone. On one hand, they’re based on your current earning level, so if changes are on the horizon, make sure to check again soon! On the other hand, the closer you are to retirement, the more accurate your results!
