Returning to normal

As evidenced by the MA and Part D final rule for 2022, CMS is planning in the following year a post-Covid-19 transition year for MA organizations and beneficiaries alike, without creating an avalanche of utilization after a long period of deferred time.

Fortunately, fully vaccinated members will be able to resume in-person care this year, meaning that the MA plans can expect a more consistent and reliable stream of data to have a better understanding of the financial projections. With the right data management, member outreach, and engagement tools, the transition from 2021 to 22 will be smoother for MA organizations.

This is all great for the big company, however, when you live on Social Security it’s terrible. Last year the social security payment went up a little maybe $100-150, but right away medicare raised their fee so I think my check was about $20 different. When the cost of living is so high and changing each year so rapidly, and of course, we have to pay taxes too. Retirees NEED HELP.
