Don’t Pull Out During Downturns

Here is a knee-jerk reaction that you will regret later on in life: pulling out during downturns. The market going up and down is very normal, and you getting spooked will inevitably cause the downfall of your financial security during retirement.

Not only will you have a hard time knowing when to get back in the game, but you might miss out on a snapback- the market is known to do this often, too.

OK, but you need numbers to back this claim up? People who missed the top 10 days in the market between 1980 and 2018 missed out on a ton of cash. A $10,000 could have been worth $341,520 less than it could have been. Are you ready to make that call?
