Credit Card Purchases You Can’t Actually Afford

Credit cards make purchasing so much easier for all of us, but they can also tempt us into buying things we really can’t afford. And if we can’t afford them in the first place, how are we supposed to get out of debt? High-interest rates will set you back months, sometimes even years if you’ve gone through a particularly expensive shopping trip.

This is another sacrifice you should make for your retirement. By holding back and rethinking your online or real-life shopping basket, you could end up saving hundreds of dollars. Looking for cheaper alternatives or saving up for a specific purchase will ensure that you won’t have any debts to worry about in the long run.
