14. Seniors Think Green

A good way to start saving the planet is to be mindful of our waste. Luckily, seniors seem very on board with that idea. 70% of people aged 50 (or older) say they recycle regularly, proving that thinking green is not some young new fad.

Another 70% say they use energy-efficient light bulbs too, another thing that can contribute to our efforts to help Mother Earth heal.

But we think seniors could do better in other departments, as not many reach for locally grown foods when they go out shopping, and only 2% use hybrid vehicles. What are your plans for a greener retirement?
