12. The IRS Offers Free Tax Help for Seniors

After spending decades working on your taxes you might not think that you’ll need extra help when you age. But your finances will look completely different once you retire and, let’s be completely honest, filing your taxes is something we’d all rather avoid.

But did you know that the IRS has a special program for seniors? It’s called Tax Counseling for the Elderly. If you’re over 60 you’ll get free tax assistance and ask any questions. They can even help you with your tax returns.
