10 States to Retire For Less Than 45K a Year

Mississippi

The annual expenditures here are $42,587. There is a high chance to happily retire earlier in Mississippi, as it is the state where many seniors spend the least each year. When it comes to housing, in particular, you’ll only have to spend $6,510, which is 33.3% lower than the national average and less than any state in the ranking.

But let’s not forget about food: by living here, you’ll get to be as close as possible to the Southern comfort food we all love so much! Macaroni and cheese, fried steak, hushpuppies, and seafood, they’re all excellently prepared in this part of the country!

I would consider moving to TN or maybe Mississippi only because those states i know support Americans Constitutional Freedoms. Im not sure about the others on your list? I have already been looking for land in WV and TN and was considering TN for a 3rd choice as i have found it hard to find land with a year round stream/creek/river on it? My wife and i both agree it has to have a stream flowing on the property. Well back to my search since i have had no luck locating any undeveloped land as of yet? lol

I wouldn’t want to go to a state where the legislature is attempting to minimize or cancel my vote. That’s truly unconstitutional.
