Listen to What Your Elders Have to Say

All the generations who’ve lived before us had a crucial part in how our current society works. Therefore, listening to their stories and advice, whether it’s coming from a member of your family, a neighbor or even an older co-worker, can be useful to us in terms of shaping our future.

They might actually be onto something here. As Place for Mom reader, David H., said: “Try to listen to your elders and parents when you are young — remember that they only want the best for you.”
