11 Mistakes Every Senior Makes When Downsizing Their Home

Don’t do things with haste

When done right, downsizing can help you have anything you’ve dreamed of. Maybe your goal was to sell your house and move closer to your grandchildren. Or to save some extra cash to have that vacation in Europe you always dreamed of.

Whatever it might be, downsizing can be the solution. But in order to choose the right way, you need to take your time and not rush into things too quickly.

Instead of throwing your items in the trash, ask your family if they might need something you own. Or instead of signing a lease on the first apartment that pops into your eyes, try first to understand if it fits your needs.

Next, you should never settle for less…..
