8. Don’t Choose Your Home First

This is possibly one the biggest mistakes seniors make. Falling in love with a house first means you’ve done your homework… backwards. Finding a house should be the last step on your list, as first you have to make sure everything else with the city, neighborhood or even country is right for you.

Think about it this way. Is the house just right, but in a bad area? Then it’s a bad house, period. The headache you’ll have to deal with if you move to a place you aren’t prepared for is not worth it, we promise.
