If something is for free, why not take advantage of it while you can? One of the perks of retirement is that after a lifetime of hard work, you are finally rewarded with some freebies. Therefore, if you want to have fun in your golden years, there are plenty of options to stay busy and entertained in your newfound free time.

You can go to a museum and enter for free or borrow a book from the public library without paying anything for it. If you want to explore your talent, you can participate in open mic nights at a local coffee shop or theater, which, in most cases, do not ask for any admission fee or, if you want to continue your studies, you can attend at a local college or university that offers free classes for retirees.
