12. Get Ready for Long Term Care

The first things you should know about long term care: it doesn’t come cheap and it’s not always covered by Medicare. Don’t leave making a plan until it’s too late, as it’s easier to take care of this when you’re younger.

You could buy long-term care insurance, think about a reverse mortgage or even long-term care annuity or living benefits from a life insurance policy. But these are all options that you should think of early on in order to save up money in the long term.
