What It’s Really like to Retire in an RV

October 28, 2019 · Retirement Life

Think Outside the Box

RVs are usually more expensive than travel trailers. Which means a used trailer can be purchased for $10,000 or less. Budget-wise, it’s seems like a better option. But if you think about it, you need to tow the trailer, and this requires a powerful-enough vehicle like an SUV or truck.

In the case of motorhomes, second transportation is also required to avoid driving your RV everywhere. This could require a towing rig for a vehicle behind the RV or you could simply walk to other places for mundane errands. It’s your choice, so think it through!
