Gas and motor oil

Average household expenses in the US in 2019: $2,109

If you’re driving a car and rely on it to get to work or perform your daily chores, gas and motor oil can seriously impact your budget.

One way to save at the pump is by using public transit. If it’s reliable, it’s definitely a cheaper alternative than driving your personal vehicle day in and day out. Not to mention that you manage to avoid traffic delays, if you go by subway, for instance. This can help you save up to seven days a year and around $1,000 in extra personal costs.

An even better scenario would be to rent out your car and make some extra money instead of spending what you have.

Find out how to give your expenses a dressing down next…..

this is ridiculous. if you can’t afford some soap for your clothes, you should not be retired, go back to work.

THIS IS SO NOT TRUE. Who wrote this should be embarrassed by their own ignorance. Anyone even close to retirement know the things you quote here in this article are as important in life at anytime. Honestly you sound like a bunch of idiots.
