Average household expenses in the US in 2019: $184

The secret to having a clean house and clothes? Good quality cleaning supplies. But laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent and the like don’t come cheap.

Luckily, there are ways to save some money from cleaning supplies and still maintain your house and clothes in perfect condition. One way would be to make your own cleaning supplies, like detergent, with the help of easy tutorials.

And even better, some clothes, such as lightly soiled ones, don’t even need to be washed with laundry detergent.

    this is ridiculous. if you can’t afford some soap for your clothes, you should not be retired, go back to work.

    THIS IS SO NOT TRUE. Who wrote this should be embarrassed by their own ignorance. Anyone even close to retirement know the things you quote here in this article are as important in life at anytime. Honestly you sound like a bunch of idiots.
