Being a mentor is about more than just offering guidance to another person, but let’s focus on that first nonetheless. You don’t have to pay a single penny to start mentoring someone- all you have to give is your time and expertise. It can be challenging at times, but also fun!

Now let’s talk about what you can gain also. Working with someone that is much younger could give you a different life perspective. Many other retirees claim they’ve been able to find a sense of purpose by mentoring others, too.
