Create a monthly budget

Have you ever considered that your financial anxiety comes from a lack of control? Sometimes, when we don’t know how to solve a problem, coming up with a strict plan might sort things out. If you are experiencing financial restlessness, try creating a monthly budget. Allow yourself 2 hours of planning and organizing your finances, by following these simple steps:

  1. Resume your total take-home pay
  2. Note down what you spend monthly on your fixed expenses
  3. Add up how much money you spend on non-monthly costs
  4. Sum up contributions to your financial goals
  5. Calculate how much you have left for sporadic expenses
  6. Draw a line and analyze the situation.
