11 Mistakes Every Senior Makes When Downsizing Their Home

Downsizing too soon

There are many situations where owning a big house can be too difficult. Rising expenses, decreasing mobility, and independence can be reasons why downsizing might be the best thing to do. But if there is no real urgency to do it, you should ask yourself twice before moving to a smaller house, or an apartment.

If the people that are in your social circle have made that decision, doesn’t mean you have to. Or just because you’ve reached a certain age and you think this must be on your list, doesn’t mean it really does.

The decision of downsizing your home must be the best solution for you individually, not because external factors are pressuring you to do it.

Be the man (or woman) with the plan…..
