If you leave the workforce, you might no longer have health insurance. Many people are concerned with what could happen to their health insurance, once they stop working. But just like with everything in life, planning ahead can get you out of trouble in this case, as well.

There are numerous private insurance alternatives you can choose from. In addition, if you are eligible to receive subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, you might have to pay a very small amount for your insurance or even no amount at all, especially if what you make in retirement is less than what you made during your working years.
