Not Eliminating Debt

This is one of the big ones. Do you know how many people carry debt over during retirement? Too many, that’s to be sure- and too many of those retirees don’t even have a plan on how to table their debt.

Making realistic investments now is key- meaning that even though you might finally have the free time to go on a month-long vacation on the other side of the planet, prioritizing that over your debt may be one of the worst decisions of your life. Sure, you’ll feel great about it in the moment, but when you’re back home and the dust has settled, you’ll see how precarious your financial situation truly is.
