5. Missing out on your chance to set things right

It’s no wonder people make so many mistakes considering the mixed advice they receive. If you’re in the same boat, it’s not the end of the world. The program gives us the option to withdraw our applications within 12 months of claiming by filling out a SSA-521 form. 

It pretty much works as a fresh start, but you have to return any money you’ve received so far. If you’re unsure, don’t go out splurging and double-check all the information. There may still be time to fix your mistake.
