5. Beneficiaries with higher earnings won’t get stimulus money

High earners might not receive a stimulus check at all, or they might receive a highly reduced one.

If you’re already claiming benefits and withdrawing money from other savings accounts then you might not fall into the category of people who are set to receive the $1,200. On top of that, if you have other sources of income, those too will drastically decrease your chances.

If you’re married and filing jointly and your adjusted gross income was over $150,000 or if you’re single with $75,000, every $100 over these thresholds will decrease your stimulus check by $5.
