13 Behaviors of Early Retired Millionaires That Made Them Rich

2. They’re frugal

You might think that living with millions in the bank makes these early retirees spend their money left, right and center. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, they prefer to live frugally: eating in, not overspending on cars and overall, dropping as many expenses as possible.

For example, since there’s no need for expensive, office clothes, early retirees are able to spend less by rethinking their wardrobe choices and sticking to what they need instead of what they’ve been used to. Cutting weekly lunches might not sound like much but the money can add up very quickly, so that’s another area they cut down.
