14 Ways to Make Your Money Last in Retirement

14. Work for as Long as You Can

You probably know by now but you don’t have to claim Social Security benefits the moment they’re available to you. If you’re able you should still work until you turn 70, as you’ll be getting an 8% increase in your monthly payments.

Whether you work remotely, part-time or even full time, consider this a benefit! You could add to your savings or work on paying off your debts in the meantime. Any dollar you make during that period will help your retirement fund last a lot longer.
