10 USA Cities with Rents Under $1000 for Seniors

Tulsa, Okla. — $599

The Southern city of Tulsa has the third-lowest rental price on this list and one of the lowest in the country, namely $600 a month for a one-bedroom home. The low prices have attracted a lot of retirees, turning Tulsa into the fifth-highest population of senior residents at 13.1 percent, just behind the city of Fort Wayne, Ind.
