Outsourcing all your tasks

Sure, you might not be able to build your own home or fix your car, but this doesn’t mean you should hire professional help for all the simple chores and tasks around your house. You might not like cleaning but surely you can sweep the floors and clean the windows every once in a while instead of paying a house cleaner to do it for you on a regular basis.

According to the Principal survey, 40% of super savers do the work around the house and DIY projects by themselves and 37 percent have never used housecleaning services. According to Holly Andrews, managing director at KIS Finance, hiring outside help such as a valet or a maid are luxuries you can easily get by without if you really want to build your nest egg. If there’s something you can do all by yourself, there’s no need to pay someone else to do it for you.
