7 Social Security Scams You Need to Pay Attention to

Whether you get a sudden phone call or a voice message, saying that your Social Security number or benefits are in danger, it’s just a scam.

According to Keith Mint, founder of Minted Empire, if you were to fail to pay a fine or a fee, you would never receive a call from the Social Security Administration (SSA) threatening you with arrest!
There are other proper steps they would take. So, if you ever receive such a notice or a phone call, you should assume that it’s a Social Security scam! Don’t hesitate and hang up the phone. You can even block that number.
