Many retirees would like to retire to Seattle and we’re sorry about bursting your bubble. But you have to ask yourself, is paying $700,000 a year really worth it? Not only that, but studies also show that you’ll find the highest annual costs for a health aide or homemaker here too.

No matter which way you slice it unless you’re swimming in money, you’ll find it very difficult to survive here. With such a high cost of living, seniors will have to cut back on other expenses. If you pick a more affordable city, we guarantee you’ll have enough left over to enjoy your retirement without cutting into your savings or emergency funds.

    I can tell you first hand,Don’t move to Calif!!! I lived in Calif most of my life and in a couple months am going to retire and get out of Calif..too expensive,everything is taxed and housing prices are terrible.
