11 Countries to Retire Where $150K Is More Than Enough

The Czech Republic

Thanks to its low cost of living and rising number of expats, the country has become a popular choice for retirement. Given the influx of people, there are more businesses opening in Czech cities every day. American retirees can apply as self-employed individuals intending to either study or work in Prague.

The Czech Republic doesn’t offer a specific retirement visa. In order to stay there longer than 90 days, you’ll have to apply for a long-term visa, which can be issued for up to a year. According to experts at Move to Prague Relocation Services, this visa requires you to have an official, active purpose for your stay.

    If 72% of SS checks go out to retirees, who’s the other 28%?

      Disability. The SS office is also in charge of disability
