It seems that people in Lansing like to focus on their community and community-oriented activities. It’s no wonder, what with all the fairs, outdoor gardens, and festivals. When the weather is just right, walking and biking trail systems seem to be the go-to choice for many retirees.

The Wharton Center for Performing Arts is also a very popular destination. There you can enjoy a variety of concerts and Broadway performances. Fans of Jazz seem to congregate around here, especially.

So not only is Lansing a great place to stay active, meet new people and enjoy some good music, but it’s also an affordable place to live!
