Coursera

Coursera was founded in 2012 by Stanford University computer science professors Daphne Koller and Andrew Ng. The platform was made to offer many open online courses(MOOC), along with degrees, professional courses, Coursera specializations and Master Track courses.

What makes this platform so diverse from the other ones is that some of the most prestigious schools that have contributed from day 1 are Princeton University, Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Michigan.

These were the first universities that shared content on Coursera’s platform, allowing people from all around the world to access high-education classes without even being accepted to these competitive institutions. Isn’t it amazing?
