Why so Serious?

“Fake it till you make it”. According to researchers, your body can’t distinguish between real or fake laughing. So, why not take advantage of the modern-day fountain of youth and laugh as much as we can?

The best examples of people who’ve spent their entire life surrounded by laughter are famous nonagenarians Mel Brooks, Dick Van Dyke, Betty White and Carl Reiner. Reiner even has a gag about life in his 90s: “Every morning … I pick up my newspaper, get the obituary section, and see if I’m listed,” he explains. “If I’m not, I have my breakfast.”
