15 Planning Mistakes That Can Hurt Your Retirement

March 10, 2020 · Retirement Life

Not Having a Retirement Plan

One of the biggest mistakes an aspiring retiree can make is not having a retirement plan. It’s important to plan ahead for the future, determine how much money you need for a comfortable retirement and how much you can set aside.  Consequently, decide on a plan to achieve your goals.

Certain employers provide 401(k) plans and pensions that can help you save for a worry-free retirement. Another option would be to contribute to a traditional IRA that’s not sponsored by an employer. Compared to traditional deposit accounts, these plans can bring lots of returns and diversification and can really help you build your nest egg.
