Taxes greatly benefit our American society and without them we wouldn’t be able to maintain programs that are instrumental to our daily lives, not to mention maintaining our living habits.

But how much should we really pay? Most soon to be retirees know there’s no way to really avoid taxes and that’s true, we have to pay them throughout our lives. But that doesn’t mean we have to overpay, which is sadly what a lot of households end up doing. We don’t blame them. The delicate ins and outs of taxation are difficult to wrap your head around, but we’re here to try and shed some light on it.
