Sure, we all know that having credit cards is the same as having debts, so we better stay away from all of them altogether. But not all credit cards have been created equal, or, better said, not all credit card holders end up in debt.

If you make sure your payments are paid in time and in full so that there are no interests incurred, then credit cards can be quite advantageous, claims Jennifer McDermott, of the personal-finance site finder.com. Many credit cards have reward programs that allow you to earn points or money back simply by using them,” says McDermott. In addition, being a good payer can help you improve your credit score which, in turn, can increase your chances of buying a home with good interest rates.
