Visit Before Committing

Another less obvious cost? Visiting the place you want to move, of course. And we don’t mean just in terms of transportation because when you visit, you should really get a good look around. You should explore and find out as much as you can about your potential new home if you haven’t already. If you’ve vacationed there before, now’s a good time to try and live like a local. That means testing out costs when it comes to food, entertainment and anything else that’s important to you.
