Shop at Costco’s online store, but you’ll have to pay an extra 5% as a non-member.
Non-members can make their own purchases from Costco’s website (Costco.com), but there is a downside to that: “If you are not a member, you’ll be charged a 5% surcharge over posted prices for members (except for prescription drugs).
This is because our ability to offer low prices on brand-name items is due in large part to our membership program, which is designed to reward members for their loyalty.” Also, the food options on their website are limited, in comparison to the warehouse. So expect to see cheaper products in the warehouse, rather than on the site. There are many shoppers that confirmed this.
Next, let’s raise a glass to some savings…..
One of the most irritating websites I have ever encountered. Nothing but ads and pop-ups. I’m done!
Can you shop one day as a guest to see what it is like and if it would really benefit to have a membership?
