17 Things to Do for a Healthy Retirement

April 13, 2020 · Saving & Spending

Designer Clothing

Super savers claim they’ve long since stopped buying unnecessary luxuries in the form of designer clothing and shoes- we should all do the same! They could cost hundreds, sometimes even thousands of dollars but offer us very little in return save for a fancy logo.

Some might argue that they’re of higher quality. But are they hundreds of dollars worth of better quality? The answer is usually no. You’re better off buying from lesser-known brands for a fraction of the cost.

However, super savers also mention not buying the cheapest clothes or shoes you can get your hands on, as those have a tendency to suffer from wear and tear very quickly, so you’ll spend more in the long run. Look for affordable items but don’t splurge!

As an added note, you should also give thrift shopping a try! It’s remarkable what you can find if you set your mind to it!
