Lubbock is one of the five cities in Texas that are identified in the study as a good place to live only on Social Security. It has a relatively low livability score, and just the rent of more than $700 per month prevented it to be higher on the list.

Toledo, Ohio

Toledo has a cost of living that pushes you to expect to spend less than 25% on your basic expenses than you would have in any other place in the country, on average. Even more, Toledo is one of the cities where your money lasts the longest.
