The more we age, the more our bodies’ needs are changing, so do our nutrient requirements. While children can eat anything and never run out of energy, after 25 years the absorption rates start to change, cell creation begins to slow, metabolisms wind down, and our essential nutrient needs are different.

The more you age, the more you’re feeling those changes. Our bodies have a harder time absorbing zinc, iron, vitamin B12, and calcium, which is why we experience problems with our bones and muscles when we’re older.
